Kong & Associates was established in 2004 under the sole proprietorship of Mr. Kevin Kong. We presently have over 30 staff members consisting of various experienced lawyers, legal executives, and a team of professionally trained supporting staff members.
Our mission is to provide high quality and professional legal services to our clients and to act for the best interest of our clients through a commitment of excellence. We provide high quality legal services in advising and assisting our clients on their legal matters in both Hong Kong and overseas. We are concentrating on the development of our clientsˇ¦ corporate finance, commercial and Chinese practice, especially commercial transactions and litigation related to Chinese issues.
We have been advising clients on doing business in China and have developed a thorough understanding of the application of law in the PRC and an appreciation of the local sensitivities when conducting business. Our lawyers in the group are fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English and primarily provide advice on foreign direct investment in China, whether through wholly-foreign owned enterprises, Sino-foreign co-operative joint ventures or Sino-foreign equity joint ventures.
